Spring weather is around the corner and with warmer temperatures comes spring cleaning, vacation planning, and the boxing up of snow boots. My favorite way to celebrate the new season is by sprucing up my wardrobe with lighter pieces both in weight and in color. Now, I’ll admit, this body has “type-a” blood running through it, so I start planning everything (including my seasonal wardrobe) well in in advance. While it might sound crazy to buy sandal in December, my frivolity has allowed me to round up a few budget friendly spring items for all of you!
We can all admit, nothing is better than a great pair of jeans. This season, jeans are a staple. However, we’re not talking ordinary jeans, think raw hems, embroidery, and even two-toned as shown below. Pair any of these with a simple t-shirt and you’ll be rocking an effortlessly chic look!
You read that right, WEDGE HEELS ARE BACK- and in all the best ways might I add! These Chloe sandals are my favorite, but the price makes me cringe. My favorite dupe has to be these Marc Fisher LTD wedges. They are such great quality and at less than half the price of the designers, I’m not even ashamed to say I bought two pairs. If the Marc Fisher sandals are still a bit too pricey, Steve Madden has the perfect solution for you. Go ahead girl, treat your feet to some new digs.
Embroidery can be seen on everything from jeans (as listed above) to denim jackets, shoes, and leather jackets. While I haven’t invested in this trend yet, I do have this DIY on my to-do list and this amazing jacket in my Nordstrom’s cart.
Thank goodness off the shoulder tops are back in style this spring, because this girl went crazy buying them last year. However, off the shoulder tops are now being accompanied by their sister, one shoulder tops! How fun are these little numbers: This top with a neck scarf would be perfect; pick this up for your next beach vacation, you won’t regret it; pair this top with white bell bottoms, amazing!
