Working in the health and wellness industry I have felt an extreme amount of pressure to have the “perfect body”. I believed that it was a package deal. No one will want to work with me if I don’t have the perfect body. Right? Wrong. But deep down that was what I believed when I entered this career. Some are merely intimidated by the idea of it, and fear they won’t be able to keep up. Regardless of the reasons, there are misconceptions here that need to be addressed. Hi there! Julie Lauren here today, and I’m so excited to talk about something that is very near and dear to me: meditation. If I’m being honest, I used to be a skeptic when it came to meditating. I had heard good things, but I didn’t truly understand how just 10 minutes a day could make THAT big of a difference in your overall well-being. Well, I was certainly proven wrong because now I can’t imagine a life without meditation.
